I use to think, to make a statement you had to be loud and boastful. That’s a lie . True power sometimes operates as a silence. Not needing to prove but walking in a knowing. A knowing of who you belong to and who goes before you; allowing you to know/ be confident in who you are. Not trying to force yourself to fit into spaces just to be seen. It’s the continuation of honing your gift, what you offer to the world, while quietly waiting your turn (Diligently working). The ability to remain humble, all while knowing that God has given you something that holds much value. Not being eager to prove haters wrong; however to be able to trust He knows when to use you. He prepares you for a certain time and know he’s never a second too late. Just wait on his que.
I believe it has so much to do with where your focus is zoomed into it. When I look in the wrong direction I see competition, I see myself as small, I see all the reasons of why it can’t, or I see the lie that in order to do this you need be loud and command attention.
But when I focus my vision on God. He is the one who holds the power. He is the one who exalts. The one who makes a withered tree thrive, and a thriving tree wither. He is the one that turns the head of his people. So I will continue to remain humble; while relying on my father.
