What if everything you’re praying about is on the other side of the mirror? What if the obstacle you’re facing is looking back at you?
You are your worst critic. You are your own enemy. You have forgotten the power that is within you. how long are you going to complain but yet settle for less?
If only you knew what you were capable of becoming. Who you could be if you focused on defeating yesterday’s “you.” What if changing the circumstances didn’t take up so much of your mind. What if striving didn’t occupy your time. What if the only test you had to pass was becoming a better you? What if you became your cheerleader instead of your critic?
____
The first step I took in taking my power back was being completely honest with myself. As much as I desired a better lifestyle and to live out my dreams. I knew that if God gave it to me now I would destroy it. I always blamed God and asked why my life wasn’t moving forward but it’s me. At this time, I was still living in the cycles of my thoughts, flesh, and an undisciplined life.
But am I ready to relinquish the destruction?
Yes
And I’m pretty sure you’re reading this questioning, what is the destruction?
The limiting beliefs
The belief system that destroys visions in seed forms before they can even be planted and take root. The system that limits Gods ability by cancelling it out with fear. The limiting thoughts that says this is too big, this scares me, did I really hear this correctly, I can’t do this, or that I’m not good enough. These are the kind of thoughts that hold us bound to shackles of what we’ve always known. Comfortability.
Vision comes with going beyond the norms, beyond our limits, and beyond what has always been.
Are you ready to deconstruct your limiting beliefs?
