Different shades of Purple

Okay so.. I preach so much about not putting myself in a box and wanting to wear what catches my eyes. Not caring what others say. Or if they like it. So that being saying, I did it.

It’s not something really big but I had this idea in my head. And what’s nerve racking about it, is that the purples don’t match but for some reason I like that about it. So this sweater has been in my closet since maybe the end of 2018 and I never wanted to get rid of it but I also didn’t wear it because it wasn’t “cool”. You know what I mean? Like it’s not what everybody would wear, especially now because it’s not in. But I still like it and like I said, I’m no longer dressing for a trend or anybody else. Therefore she’s made an appearance, lol.

Okay, so the sweater was the centerpiece and I had these Js that’s basically the same story but I had them maybe since like 2016 or so. With these pieces, I didn’t want to do anything crazy so I paired it with a basic black shirt and to give it a little edge, I styled the wide leg jeans. And the glasses tied it all together!

I almost gave up on this outfit because it wasn’t coming together as I pictured and I literally went through many tops before I was satisfied . But I’m so glad it ended up working out. And I hope this inspires you to wear something that may not be cool to others but catches your eye.

This is a reminder: Do what makes you happy! Xoxo
