Watching Selena’s documentary sparked a memory in me. A reminder . My reason for being here. My reason for creating. To leave a warm impact from within. How can my presence be a warmth for someone else’s heart? I don’t want to be on the earth to constantly take but to give.
I often wonder where is my space ? Where am I needed? Where’s my community?
For so long starting this, I thought I was suppose to create content on other platforms because that’s the only thing that make sense but I often feel like it doesn’t feel right. It’s not enough. Like I don’t fit there. I feel like I’m forcing a puzzle piece that’s not fit for my picture. They say when you find your place you feel at home or at peace.. well home to me doesn’t seem like the typical social media space. I desire real relationship, connection, interaction, and real impact. Not saying you can’t do that but for me It’s not my first choice. If I had to choose a form of content it’s this. My words. A space I created. A gift from God.
I feel words means more than just a cute picture or video. It’s another form of service for the people that I can’t reach physically. A space for love, warmth, loneliness, tears, pain, purpose , inspiration, creation, ideas, love, meanings, and empowerment. A space where you never have to feel like you’re the only one. These words will be here even when I gone. These words will remind you to never give up when it gets tough. A reminder to make an impact in your own way. To never let go when confusion comes. To not just be a cute face but to leave a mark.
How can I not just be defined by my outer shell?
To go deeper within. There’s a story behind every cover .
Unlock what works for you. It’s okay to do different. If you smile when you look at your finish project, that’s where you belong! It’s okay if it’s not popular at the moment or what everyone is doing you may be creating a new wave. And sometimes the most valuable things aren’t popular in it’s baby stages. Growth/expansion has no time limit on it. Your growth will happen at the right time. Don’t let your meaning or focus be dictated by outcomes, numbers, money, people, etc. Do something that adds value to this world. Even if it’s just to one person.
